These clips are from one of my favorite 80′s cult movies: “Streets of Fire.” Isn’t it ironic that these “fake” artists are better than many of the “real” artists out today? I’m more convinced that these are real acts over some of the promoted acts I see thrown in my face via MTV. Take a look for yourself.

In case you didn’t know, the character of Ellen Aim, the lead singer of Ellen Aim & the Attackers, is a very young Diane Lane. One of the singers in The Surrells (I Can Dream… video) is a young Robert Townsend.
